Pediatrician

Gayatri Shanker, M.D. FAAP, MS

Gayatri Shanker, M.D. FAAP, MS

Dr. Shanker has dedicated over 20 years of her career to building a leading patient-centered Pediatric practice in Mid-Michigan. Dr. Shanker has translated her passion for the health and wellbeing of her young patients to build a practice which is recognized as a leader in Patient Centered Medical Home and quality of care in the region.

Dr. Shanker currently serves as President of Primary Care Partners, an organization of Mid-Michigan primary care physicians where she has been active on various committees for the past 15 years. She also serves on the Board of Covenant Healthcare Partners, a partnership with Covenant Hospital System.

In the community, Dr. Shanker serves on Medical Command and Control team coordinating medical response to COVID-19. She has led and supported many community-based mental health initiatives in Saginaw County.

She also previously founded Medical Associates of Pearland, in Pearland, Texas and was a pediatric attending physician at Hermann Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital and St. Luke’s Hospital of Houston, Texas.

Dr. Shanker is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been Board Certified Pediatrician since 1995. Dr. Shanker completed her Pediatric Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston in 1995 and her medical degree in 1988 at Seth G. S. Medical College, Mumbai, India. In addition, she also has a Master Degree in Biomedical Science from Drexel University, where she conducted research on wound-healing.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Shanker is married and has two children. She enjoys music, hiking and baking.


Advanced Practice Providers

Shelley A. Ridgway, FNP-BC

Shelley A. Ridgway, FNP-BC

Shelley Ridgway has had a distinguished career over the last 15 years as a Nurse Practitioner after receiving her advanced training in family practice at facilities throughout the Tri-Cities. She joined Partners in Pediatrics in 2004 and is now part of the Caring Pediatric Partners team.

Her experiences as a registered nurse include: Pediatric Intensive Care, Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatric Medical and Surgical, as well as adult cardiac, adult medical/surgical and occupational health. Shelley has a special interest in nutrition and exercise.

Shelley completed her Master of Science in Nursing Degree at Saginaw Valley State University in 2003 after completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree at Saginaw Valley State University in 1998. She certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2004.

Shelley is married with four children (2 boys and 2 girls) and 2 small dogs! Shelley and her family enjoy the outdoors- boating, snorkeling, fishing, camping and hiking as well as game nights and baking!

Shelley Lynne Sibbold has been a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for just over 5 years. She has a passion for caring for children in all stages of development and watching them grow and excel. She is in the office on a full-time basis.

Shelley Lynne's experiences as a registered nurse included working at the Travel Immunization Clinic focusing on the preventative side of nursing. Her Nurse Practitioner studies focused on Primary Care in Pediatrics. She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, in Primary Care. She joined Partners In Pediatrics in 2015 and is now part of the Caring Pediatric Partners team

Shelley Lynne Sibbold completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree in 2010 and Parent-Child Masters of Science Degree in 2014, at University of Michigan. Shelley Lynne is from the Detroit area.

Shelley Lynne has spent four summers working at Trail’s Edge Summer Camp. Trail’s Edge provides a one week camp experience to children who have tracheostomies or need ventilator assistance.

When she is not working, she enjoys relaxing and going on walks with her dog, getting lost in a good book and testing out new recipes in the kitchen.

 

Ashley N. Taylor, FNP-BC

Ashley N. Taylor, FNP-BC

Ashley completed her Master of Science in Nursing Degree at Saginaw Valley State University in December 2014. She received advanced training in family practice and pediatric facilities throughout the Tri-Cities. She certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2015. She joined Partners in Pediatrics in 2018 and is now part of the Caring Pediatric Partners team.

Ashley Taylor completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degrees at Saginaw Valley State University in 2008. Her experiences as a registered nurse include working in an Adult Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit.

Ashley is married and has four beautiful girls who are also budding athletes and a new baby girl! She enjoys crafting, watching and playing sports, and creating obstacle courses for her kids. She is in the office on a full-time basis.

Ashley competed in track (hurdles, relays and steeplechase) and cross country in college and qualified for Nationals in her senior year. She enjoys helping her adolescent patients with proper nutrition, stretching, working through injuries and helping them to reach their athletic goals.


Practice Manager

Ann Brandow, CMA (AAMA)

Ann Brandow has had a distinguished career as a Practice Manager for more than three decades, leading and building a team of dedicated Pediatric healthcare professionals. Ann's knowledge and experience span the entire gamut of practice management and leadership skills from Financial and Operational Management to Implementation of EHR Systems and Workflow Design to Quality and Patient Centered Medical Home certification. Her expertise with EHR systems is widely recognized.

A thoughtful, compassionate, and principled leader, she personifies and instills a patient-centric practice management culture in the team of professionals she leads.

Ann graduated from Ferris State University in 1979 with an Associates Degree Allied Health in Medical Assisting. After graduation Ann joined Partners In Pediatrics as a clinical medical assistant then moved into practice management. She has continued there for the past three decades and is now excited to lead the professionals at Caring Pediatric Partners at the same location.

Ann and her husband Mike (and Lizzy their favorite Golden Retriever) enjoy working on projects at their cottage when she is not busy helping friends and family. Ann and Mike are blessed with a wonderful son and daughter-in-law.
